EVRA REVEALS HENRY STANCE ON XHAKA
Patrice Evra has revealed the opinion of Arsenal legend Thierry Henry on one of the Arsenal players. Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has been a controversial figure at the club since his big money move from Borussia Moenchengladbach four years ago and ex-Manchester United left-back has exposed Thierry Henry and his opinion on the footballing ability of the previously mentioned Xhaka. Granit Xhaka is in the news again for the wrong reason for the umpteenth time after his moment of madness during the Premier League game with Burnley at the weekend. Xhaka was sent off after he grabbed the throat of Burnley midfielder Ashley Westwood. Initially, he was given a yellow card before VAR picked it up and the yellow card was overturned for a red card.
In his reaction on Sky Sports, Manchester United legend Patrice Evra narrated how Arsenal legend Henry invited him to his house to watch the Arsenal game and that the former Arsenal striker switched off his TV after he saw Xhaka leading the Arsenal team onto the pitch. According to Patrice Evra, the Arsenal legend is not a fan of Granit Xhaka and his inconsistent displays in the colours of the North London club.
The red card for Xhaka means that the Swiss international player will miss the next three games. He was absent for the 1-1 home draw with Southampton on Wednesday night as the Gunners also finished the game with ten men due to the dismissal of normally dependable defender Gabriel Magalhaes who was booked twice in the space of four minutes. Xhaka will miss the league trip to Everton on Saturday evening alongside Gabriel. The Swiss player will then miss the Capital One Cup home game with Manchester City next week for the third and final game of his suspension.
